St. Matthew Lutheran Preschool has been serving the northern Spokane area since 2005. Our preschool is set apart from many other preschools: Our main focus is to help children recognize the daily presence of Christ and his love and forgiveness in their lives. While our focus is always on Jesus, we strive to help every child develop his or her physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and creative skills, thoroughly preparing each child for elementary education and establishing a framework for lifelong learning. At St. Matthew, children learn about prayer and are encouraged to pray. We also teach right from wrong, and promote love, trust and friendship within the class. Bible stories are introduced through daily Bible lessons that teach how the Lord loves, protects, forgives, and saves us.
School Hours: Three-year-old preschool meets on Mondays and Fridays, while four-year-old classes meet Tuesday through Thursday. Both our three-year-old program and four-year-old program offers your choice of either a morning session running from 8:30AM-11:15AM, or an afternoon session running from 12:30PM-3:15PM.
